OUR 30-DAY GUARANTEE

At Walls Republic, we strive to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase. However, if you need to return a product, please review our return policy outlined below:

Return Eligibility

Returnable Items: Products may be returned within 30 days after delivery. A 35% restocking fee will be charged for all returns.

Original Packaging: Returns will only be accepted if the product's original packaging remains intact and the item is in resalable condition.

Non-Returnable Items: The following products are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Samples

Damaged or Lost Products

Damaged Products: In the unlikely event that your products are damaged or there is an error with the products you received, simply call us toll free at 1-800-990-2250 (North America) or 001-905-604-9255 (International) within 7 days of delivery to make a claim. Be sure to provide proof of damage (such as photos) to our Customer Service Team. If something is wrong with an order, we will take immediate steps to replace the product.

For products purchased under Wallpaper Outlet, damaged products can be replaced if there is still remaining stock and dye lot. Otherwise, we will issue a refund, or the customer can choose a replacement and deduct the amount of the damaged product from the chosen replacement items.

Our products are carefully packaged to avoid damage in shipping. Damage to products will virtually always be visible on the exterior of the roll. If products are damaged inside of the packaging, please stop installation and contact Walls Republic customer service right away.

Lost Shipments: In the event of a lost shipment, Walls Republic will replace the products.

Exchanges and Refunds

Exchanges: If you wish to exchange an item, please submit a request. Final approval remains with Walls Republic.

Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for both arranging and covering the cost of shipping for any returned orders.

Refund Processing: Refunds will be processed after the returned items have been inspected. Please allow 15 business days for the refund to be processed following the inspection.

Please do not schedule installation of your products until after the product has been received and examined. Installing a damaged or defective product may void a warranty or damage claim.

At Walls Republic, wallpaper samples play an important part in the design process, allowing our clients to see and feel the texture, colour, and any other elements such as metallics before making a final decision on what works best for their project.

We completely understand how helpful samples are, which is why we are happy to offer samples to our valued customers.

Here is some additional information of value to help you understand more about our sample program:

  • Samples for contract, digital print murals, and dry erase wallcoverings are $5 each. 
  • Mural samples are A4 sized and show the overall impression of how it will look on the wall.
  • Shipping is a flat $19 and covers all of the U.S and Canada, and is sent out through UPS.
  • Sample shipping is only available in the U.S. and Canada, however we ship roll orders internationally.

Non-woven Matt

This material is a dimensionally stable product and that is most commonly used for the residential market. The base is made out of a fabric-like material made from long fibers, bonded together by a heat treatment. This process creates a mesh that bonds the wood fibers tightly together making the product extremely durable.

The matt non-woven is made without textured embossing and an additional protective varnish (heavy metal free) is added for extra washability and scrub resistance.

Why was my credit card transaction declined?

Unfortunately, we are unable to process your order because the transaction on your credit card was declined. This may occur for a variety of reasons. Please ensure you have used the correct address that is associated with your credit card and that you have input the correct security code. Walls Republic offers a 30-day money-back guarantee applicable to both North American and international customers. Items may be returned for a full refund provided they remain in unused condition, in original packaging, and have not been installed. Return shipping costs are non-refundable. This policy excludes custom-made items and mural orders. Commercial wallpaper is not eligible for return under any circumstances. Customers must contact Customer Service before initiating a return.

Left Over Wallpaper

Excess wallpaper may be returned if it is in full, unopened rolls and within 30 days of purchase. A 35% restocking fee will apply. All return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility. Refunds will be processed within 15 days of receipt, contingent on compliance with all return policy terms.

Product Damaged in Shipping

Customers must report damaged or short-shipped products within 7 days of delivery. Contact should be made via toll-free number (North America: 1-800-990-2250; International: 001-905-604-9255). Do not proceed with installation if damage is identified. Damage is typically apparent on the exterior of the packaging. Should concealed damage be discovered post-unwrapping, cease installation and notify Customer Service immediately. How easy is it to remove the wallpaper?

Walls Republic wallpapers are made from high-quality non-woven fabric backing, making them “dry strippable” and easy to remove in full strips without mess—if the wall is properly prepped.

Wall Preparation Tips:

  • Make sure the wall is smooth, clean, and dry.
  • Use T.S.P. (trisodium phosphate powder) to clean the surface, then rinse.
  • Apply a primer like Roman PRO-999 (Rx-35® Sealer/Primer).
When properly prepped, simply pull from a corner and the wallpaper comes off in one piece with minimal residue.
