How to order free wallpaper samples
You order samples the same way as rolls, straight from the product page, and the sample discount is added to your cart automatically.
- Choose a design. Browse wallpaper, wall murals or commercial wallcoverings and open the product page of a design you like.
- Add the sample to your cart. Click Order a free sample on the product page. Repeat for each design you want to compare.
- Check out. Your first 3 samples are free: the discount is applied in your cart. Each sample after that is $5, and you pay shipping at checkout.
- Try them at home. Samples ship within 5–7 business days. Put them up on the wall and look at them in daylight and in the evening before you order rolls.

How many samples can I order?
As many as you need. Any 3 samples in an order are free, whether they are wallpaper, murals or commercial wallcoverings, and each one after that is $5.
How much is shipping on samples?
Shipping is calculated at checkout for your address. On an order of 3 samples or fewer, it is the only thing you pay.
How big are the samples?
Wallpaper samples are 8¼ × 11½ in (A4) to 15½ × 21 in, depending on the design. Mural samples are 21 × 19 in, and commercial wallcovering samples are 9¾ × 7½ in.
How long do samples take to arrive?
Samples ship within 5–7 business days of your order.
Are samples made from the real wallpaper?
Wallpaper and commercial samples are cut from the wallcovering itself, so you see its true color, texture and finish. Free mural samples are printed on non-woven matt. Samples on other mural materials are available on request, at an additional cost.
Can I get a sample of every design?
Most designs have a Sample option on the product page, including textured, floral, vintage and peel and stick wallpaper. If a design you like doesn't show one, contact us and we'll check whether we can send a sample.
Can I order samples of sale and outlet wallpaper?
In most cases, yes. Samples are available for discounted and outlet designs unless stock is very limited, which is when it helps most to see the design before it sells out.
Do you ship samples outside the US and Canada?
Not at the moment. We can only deliver samples to addresses in the US and Canada.
Will my wallpaper match the sample exactly?
It will be very close. Color can vary slightly between production batches and in natural materials such as grasscloth, so order all the rolls for a room together.
Do designers and trade customers get free samples?
Yes. Members of our trade program get free samples of any wallpaper they are interested in, with free shipping to the US and Canada.
